A 2011 CES Innovations Award Winner, the Cobra PhoneLynx lets the user make and receive cell phone calls on any phone in a home or small office. Using Bluetooth® wireless technology, Cobra PhoneLynx pairs a cell phone to a home phone (or multiple phones). When the cell phone rings, all the home phones ring, and when the user places an outgoing call on their home phone, the call connects over their cell phone.
Additional features of the Cobra PhoneLynx for Android (BT215A), when used with this App, include;
Voice Dialing-
Voice Dial allows access to the powerful voice dialing capabilities of an Android phone from any home phone handset. It is a unique feature not offered by a traditional home phone landline connection. To operate, the user simply picks up any home phone and dials **2, and then waits for the voice dialing prompts from the Android phone to complete a call using their voice. Typically, calls can be made to any number in the Android phone's address book by using voice commands.
Voicemail Alert-
Illuminates the home phone "Message Waiting" light when a voicemail is waiting on the user's mobile phone. This works with most phones and cellular carriers.
Speed Dial-
User's can save their most frequently dialed contacts in a Speed Dial list. Once added and saved, they are displayed on the Speed Dial screen in the PhoneLynx App and labeled with a number. This makes dialing from the home phone easy!
Voicemail Access-
The voicemail feature allows easy access to the mobile phone's voicemail from any home phone.
Alarm Clock Phone Ring-
Create and set an alarm to ring on all of the home phones and at designated times. Note, App must be running for these alarms to function properly.
