WIRELESS TILT SENSOR
Overview
The tilt sensor uses an accelerometer to detect transitions between horizontal and vertical orientation, as well as reporting the angle of tilt. When the sensor is rotated from horizontal to vertical or visa versa, an alert is sent to the wireless network. For an Armored IP67 high-precision version of the tilt sensor, see the High Precision Tilt Sensor

- Based on LoRaWAN wireless technology
- Very long range up to several miles
- Excellent wireless penetration through structures such as walls and floors
- Enclosure tamper detection
- Automatic error reporting through supervisory messages
- Over the air configuration
Applications
- Garage door open and close events
- Open/close events for horizontal lids and doors
- Telephone pole lean detection
- General-purpose tilt sensor
WIRELESS IP67 HIGH-PRECISION TILT SENSOR
Overview
The high-precision tilt sensor uses an accelerometer to measure the angle of tilt between 0-180 degrees with a precision of 0.1 degrees. Available as an Armored Sensor™ IP67 weather-proof version suitable for outdoor and industrial use. For a low-cost indoor version of the tilt sensor, see the Indoor Tilt Sensor
